Keep Your Load Covered Mile After Mile

Truck Roll Tarps in Montana and beyond

Our truck tarps are built to last! We could be considered vinyl snobs when it comes to the vinyl we choose for building our tarps. It must have a good rating cold crack, durability, and longevity! We also sew on 2" seatbelt webbing the full width across the front and the back to help prevent tearing. All seams are hot welded.

Prices are based on Linear Foot:

18oz 96" box is $17/linear foot

18oz 102" box is $18/linear foot

22oz 96" box is $18.5/linear foot

22oz 102" box is $19/linear foot

Please choose type of box, ounce of tarp, and type contact name, contact number, and finish tarp length in the comment section. We will contact you for billing. Tarps can be shipped at buyers expense.

Welded Seams and Reinforced Edges for Long-Term Use

When you roll out one of these tarps, the hot-welded seams lie flat and create a weathertight barrier that keeps rain, snow, and wind from reaching your load. The seatbelt webbing across the front and back adds an extra layer of reinforcement when the tarp is secured, which prevents tearing at the edges where fabric would normally begin to fail.

After a season of regular use, you'll notice that the tarp still rolls smoothly and the seams remain intact without signs of separation or fraying. Mountain View Canvas prices these tarps by the linear foot, which allows you to order exactly the length you need for your truck box without paying for excess material or settling for a tarp that's too short.

Box widths of 96 inches and 102 inches are available, and you can select the vinyl weight that matches your hauling frequency and load type. Heavier vinyl adds durability for high-volume operations, while lighter vinyl offers flexibility and easier handling for occasional hauling work.

What Haulers Need to Know About Roll Tarps

Dump truck operators in Montana often ask about sizing, material selection, and maintenance before ordering a custom tarp.

How do I measure my truck box for a tarp?

Measure the outside width/dimension of your box, also measure finished tarp length from front to back.

What is the difference between eighteen-ounce and twenty-two-ounce vinyl?

Eighteen-ounce vinyl offers good durability, lighter weight for general hauling, and rolls up easier in the winter, while twenty-two-ounce vinyl provides longer tear resistance.

Why are the seams welded instead of stitched?

Hot welding creates a seamless bond that prevents water intrusion and eliminates the weak points that stitching introduces, especially under repeated stress.

When should I replace my tarp? Replace

it when you see cracks forming in the vinyl, separation along the seams, or tears near the webbing that compromise the tarp's ability to cover your load completely.

How does cold weather affect the tarp?

The vinyl used in these tarps is selected for its cold-crack resistance.

Mountain View Canvas builds each tarp to order based on your truck's dimensions and your hauling needs, and lead times vary depending on current orders. Contact the shop with your measurements and vinyl preference to start the build process and get a tarp that fits your operation.
